Clinical collaboration

We welcome clinical dialogue before, during and after treatment

Before admission

We welcome clinical summaries, prior treatment records and psychiatric evaluations from referring clinicians. This supports our team in developing an individualized treatment plan before the client arrives.

During treatment

With appropriate client consent we can provide clinical updates to referring professionals and coordinate on specific aspects of the treatment plan where your prior relationship with the client is clinically relevant.

After discharge

Our aftercare program maintains connection with clients after discharge. We are available to coordinate with referring clinicians on continuity of care planning and reintegration support.

Accreditation and credentials

Licensed and accredited by Costa Rica's national health authorities

CRTC is fully licensed and accredited by IAFA (Instituto sobre Alcoholismo y Farmacodependencia) and the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica (Ministerio de Salud). These are the primary national regulatory bodies governing addiction treatment in Costa Rica.

The program has operated since 2016, initially as a sober living and recovery support environment before formally launching the comprehensive multidisciplinary treatment model in 2018.
