We understand

We have seen what meth does to a person. And we have seen people come back from it.

Methamphetamine addiction is one of the most difficult recoveries a person can face. The substance rewires the brain's reward system in ways that make ordinary pleasure feel impossible and the craving for meth feel overwhelming. Sleep, appetite, mood and cognitive function are all profoundly affected.

Many people who arrive at CRTC with meth dependency have lost significant parts of their lives to the substance. Relationships, careers, health and years. The shame and hopelessness that accompany meth addiction can feel total.

You are not here because you are beyond help. You are here because something in you has not given up. That matters more than you know.

How we treat it

We treat the person. Not just the meth dependency.

Methamphetamine addiction requires a comprehensive clinical approach that addresses both the neurological impact of the drug and the deeper psychological, emotional and relational factors that have kept it in place.

Time to heal

The brain needs time to begin healing

Recovery from meth requires patience and time. The brain needs time to begin healing. Motivation, energy and emotional regulation often feel depleted in the early weeks. Our program is designed to hold and support people through that early phase while the clinical and therapeutic work begins.

Built for you

A treatment plan specific to you

At CRTC we build a treatment plan specific to you. Your history with meth, what drove the use, your mental health picture, your relationships, your strengths and your obstacles. From that we build something real.

The toolkit

Every proven modality, in one place

Our therapeutic approach draws from CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Transactional Analysis, somatic work, mindfulness, breathwork, yoga, forest bathing, sound therapy, adventure therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation and integrative recovery through our CRTC x VINOVA alliance. Physical restoration through the VINOVA alliance is especially relevant for meth recovery given the physical depletion the drug creates.

Built from the inside

Our founder knows this journey personally

CRTC was not built from a business plan. It was built by someone who lived through addiction and recovery himself. Who sat where you are sitting now. Who experienced the gaps, the fragmentation, the programs that almost worked, and who made a promise to himself to build something that actually did.

Medical detox

The early phase of meth recovery requires clinical support. We provide it.

The early phase of meth recovery is one of the most challenging. We make sure you are not facing it alone.

Meth withdrawal is primarily psychological rather than physically dangerous in the way alcohol or benzo withdrawal can be. But the psychological symptoms are severe. Extreme fatigue, profound depression, intense cravings, anxiety, sleep disruption and cognitive difficulties can make the first days and weeks very difficult without proper clinical support.

At CRTC our medical and clinical team is present from the first hour. Your physical health is monitored. Your comfort is managed. Nutritional support, psychiatric assessment and clinical supervision begin immediately.

What recovery looks like here

Not just stopping. Building a life worth protecting.

The mountains of Atenas or the heart of San José. A different pace. Real distance from everything that has been pulling you back.

Days with shape and purpose. Therapy that truly knows you. A team that understands meth specifically and what the brain and body need to begin healing. A community of people who understand without judgment. And slowly, moments of genuine feeling that remind you what life without meth can be.

Recovery from meth takes time and it takes real support. At CRTC you have both.

Their words. Their journey.

You are not alone in what you are carrying

Meth rarely arrives without something underneath it

For many people meth use was a way of managing something that felt unmanageable. Depression that made functioning feel impossible. Trauma that needed numbing. ADHD that was never properly treated. Exhaustion that needed pushing through. A life situation that felt like there was no other way.

At CRTC we are equipped to address both the meth dependency and whatever has been driving it simultaneously. Getting through the dependency is the first step. Understanding and addressing what drove it is what makes recovery last.

Do I need to detox before arriving?

No. Our medical and clinical team manages the process on site from the moment you arrive. You do not need to have stopped using before you come.

Is meth withdrawal dangerous?
