Family therapy is a formal part of our clinical program. Sessions are scheduled around the treatment program and take into account distance and time zones so that participation is practical regardless of where family members are located.
Beyond therapy, our team maintains open communication with designated family contacts throughout treatment. You will not be left wondering. You will know how your loved one is doing. And when difficult moments arise, which they often do in any serious treatment process, our team will be transparent with you about what is happening and how we are responding.
CRTC operates a contained, supervised residential environment. Patients are monitored around the clock by clinical and support staff. The program is designed to provide real structure, real boundaries and real containment, not just a comfortable place to stay.
Resistance is a normal part of the treatment process and our team is experienced in working through it. We do not expel patients who become difficult or ambivalent. We stay with them. Our no-expulsion philosophy means we remain committed to your loved one even through the hardest moments.
Families often ask how much contact they will have with their loved one during treatment. The answer depends on the stage of treatment and what is clinically appropriate for the individual patient. Our team will discuss the communication plan with you during the admissions process and keep you informed throughout.
CRTC has physicians and psychiatrists on the clinical team. Medical detox is supervised around the clock. Psychiatric evaluation happens on arrival and psychiatric support continues throughout treatment. You can be confident that your loved one's physical and mental health is being monitored by qualified professionals.
San José International Airport serves both centers. Our team handles airport transfer from the moment your loved one lands. If you are accompanying them on the journey we can assist with logistics for family members as well.

Absolutely. Our intake advisors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no pressure and no obligation in the first conversation. Many families call several times before deciding to move forward and that is completely normal.

Family involvement is encouraged at appropriate stages. This includes family therapy sessions, regular communication updates and coordination around discharge planning. The specifics depend on the stage of treatment and what is clinically appropriate.
Our team is experienced in working with resistance and ambivalence. We do not simply discharge patients who become difficult. We work through it with them. If a patient does choose to leave against clinical advice we will always prioritize their safety and communicate clearly with the family.
We assist with all travel logistics. Our team meets arriving patients at San José International Airport and transfers them directly to the center. We can guide you through the full travel process.
CRTC is a private pay center. We offer transparent pricing for both locations. We assist clients in navigating out-of-network PPO reimbursement claims where applicable.

Discharge is not the end of our involvement. We provide detailed post-treatment planning, coordination with family around discharge, ongoing support services and referrals to local support groups.
